Casting Couch

With Chemistry on your mind you can't think of anything else..but hey...surely everyone's heard of the Shakti Kapoor incident.
What do you think? Is it an invasion of privacy or simply a way to expose someone?
What does this incident really show?
Will it deter girls from entering the glamourous field of media?
And what about corporate houses? Such favours are found there too?
Does it mean that people just HAVE to give in to achieve success??

Hey!

I have just created a blog http://dipsites-2005.blogspot.com/
the purpose for creting this blog is that I want to submit a report to Mrs. S.Chona about the changes that that we need to bring in the school. As the Ex-secretary student's council I appeal to all dipsites who are passing out this year and those who are still studying at school to contribute their suggestions and comment on the changes that our school badly needs. Thank You

BLACK

I finally went to see Black today, after the Maths exam. Till yesterday,in my opinion, it was simply over-hyped by the media but now I know I was so wrong.
It is simply the most beautiful piece of work I have come across in past many years. A movie that just can't be described in words. One that touches your heart because of the various emotions and sentiments it touches: a mother's love,a father's worry, sibling rivalry, true friendship, yearning for love and above all...the love for the teacher who gave a new direction , a new life to a little child who was trapped in her dark world. It is also the story of a teacher who struggles hard ,whose success lies in the success of his student.
The ecstacy of the teacher when he taught his student her first lesson, the eagerness to study and succeed even after so many failures, lack of attention to one child, definition of knowledge and finally a student's attempt to transform her mentor's life- - these were few of the most memorable incidents .
One can't say what is the best part of the movie because it is simply a wonderful experience that lasts for 2 hours but lingers on....
So all of you who haven't experienced it...GO and watch it...you all deserve a break. And trust me, those 2 hours will be worth it !!
Tell me what you felt about the movie!

Oh!..and in the end I'd like to point out one thing Amitabh said in the movie..
"Life is like an ice cream , eat it before it melts."
(And if anyone still remembers , that's the way i ended my speech for the class assembly)

What is friendship?

Some people define it as a gift of god which in real terms it is.

Today I saw the movie raincoat. The story is about this man manoj(A.Devgan) who has no money at all as his jute mill in a village near calcutta has been ruined due to some reason. He goes to Calcutta to his friend from college he has'nt seen him for eight years. The friend lets Manoj stay at his place and even helps him arrage for some money.Manoj with the help of his friend tries to collect some money. He knows this girl (aish) from town with whom he is in love with.Aish (niru) as far as he knows is living a happy married life in Calcutta .Manoj goes to her home to meet her. There he meets her land lord and he tells him that aish's husband is not a gud man and is a fraud. He gives his money to the land lord in order to pay the rent for the next three months without telling this to aish. The twist comes when he comes home and sees that aish has secretely read a letter in his raincoat which revealed manoj's condition to her. She puts her ornaments in his raincoat.

What I want to say through this story is that if you keep the love thing apart, both their sacrifices for their friend was amazing.both were in a chaotic situation financially but still help each other in whatever way they can.According to me this is be true friendship but the question that remains unanswered is that will this kind of a sacrifice be practical in todays world. Is there anyone out there who'll help someone when the person himself/herself is in a situation of criris.

well the movie is a must watch.I specially ask anchal to watch the film as I think that you will just love it.
