BLACK
I finally went to see Black today,after the Maths exam. Till yesterday,in my opinion, it was simply over-hyped by the media but now I know I was so wrong.
It is simply the most beautiful piece of work I have come across in past many years. A movie that just can't be described in words. One that touches your heart because of the various emotions and sentiments it touches: a mother's love,a father's worry, sibling rivalry, true friendship,yearning for love and above all...the love for the teacher who gave a new direction , a new life to a little child who was trapped in her dark world. It is also the story of a teacher who struggles hard ,whose success lies in the success of his student.
The ecstacy of the teacher when he taught his student her first lesson, the eagerness to study and succeed even after so many failures, lack of attention to one child, definition of knowledge and finally a student's attempt to transform her mentor's life- - these were few of the most memorable incidents .
One can't say what is the best part of the movie because it is simply a wonderful experience that lasts for 2 hours but lingers on....
So all of you who haven't experienced it...GO and watch it...you all deserve a break.And trust me, those 2 hours will be worth it !!

Oh!..and in the end I'd like to point out one thing Amitabh said in the movie..
"Life is like an ice cream , eat it before it melts."
(And if anyone still remembers , that's the way i ended my speech for the class assembly)

Yes the movie is really a great one.I saw it sometime back with a friend.The way rani has acted was just amazing.But I was confused over one thing whether this film was about a def and blind person or about the teacher who tries to give her the meaning of the words that she does'nt know.
Any way the movie was amzingly gud had some gus scenes I loved the the scene when rani's sister confeses her hate towards her.
This too is a must watch.

i was wondering if u ever come online mridu! well..the maths paper was sposed to be easy..can u imagine Bhavya came out at 1 .I messed up in a question.Wish I had more time to check my whole pper.What abt urs?
And Varenya, I also liked the scene when Rani objects during a lecture to what was being taught.."Aankhen sapne nahin dekhti.."
And one more thing..this blog is not meant just for senti stuff..so all of u who read this and who want to contribute..just post anything on any topic- even Chem will do!
See Chem is not something to post messages about as it purely and really sucs.
